A key part of anti-bullying conversations that often gets overlooked is what to do after you’ve been bullied. In my talks, I focus on helping kids understand that others do not define our worth—our current circumstances do not define our worth. The reality is, we may never be able to completely stop bullying, but we can equip kids with the tools and confidence to respond in healthy ways, not just during, but in the months and years after. When they know how to deal with it, they can break the cycle and build a stronger, kinder future.

Every great story begins with a character worth following. In this interactive workshop, students will dive into the Hero’s Journey—exploring how a character’s strengths, flaws, and choices drive the plot. We’ll examine the traits that make protagonists relatable, the challenges that push them to grow, and the flaws that make them human. Through guided activities, students will create their own main character, map out the stages of their journey, and discover how to weave personality, motivation, and transformation into their storytelling.
